Let The Baking Begin

Let the baking begin… These are simple dark chocolate chip -pecan cookies.

Christmas Party Cake that I made this year. This was fun to bake. It was delicious! 

Twas’ good! I would bake this Butter Pecan cake again! Whipped cream filling make this light and airy. Not too sweet! 

Magic Cookie Bars- you either love them or think them to be too sweet…

Daughter Zoe came home from ASU to bake for her friends and co- workers. She added this eggnog cookie to her baking list. Delicious! I’m so glad that she inherited the baking gene from me. It’s so fun to watch her enjoy this tradition!

The last adventure these two will have. Relieving me of my move the elf years. I got busted by my 12 year old daughter/granddaughter while moving them. She laughed hard at me when I finished this maneuver… Lol they have retired and so have I! 

The price of eggs here in Phoenix has me picking my jaw up off the floor! Wow what a golden commodity they are now. Also, I wonder if this has impacted a lot of folks desire to bake for the holidays? 

Let the creating and decorating begin… I embellished this simple bell wreath with mini fairy light and a snowman ornament. I’m using it for a wreath on my front door this year. 

I never tire of sitting in front of the tree I decorated. I enjoy my coffee in front of the tree every morning. My cats join me! 

Before I even decorated the tree my kitten was up and in it… “Charlotte!“…

We didn’t do a grand display in the front yard this year. Very understated and all that we did was put lights on the house this year. We were burnt out after taking down all the Halloween decor. Ugh just burnt! 

We had fun doing a few festive things this season.
